One Case of Pregnant Rudimentary Uterus with Rupture
흔적자궁각 임신의 자연파열 1례
이재호; 김택훈
Abstract
When the development of the one Miillerian duct is normal and the other very imperfect, various degrees of uterine abnormalities are produced. Most rudimentary horns are noncommunicating and connected to the opposite unicornuate uterus by fibrous bands. In some instances the endometrial cavity of the rudimentary uterine horn may communicate through a narrow channel to a more normal opposite cavity. If pregnancy does so occur, the patient may present the classic picture of an ectopic pregnancy, including rupture. We present one case of pregnant rudimentary uterus with rupture, which was impressed as an ectopic pregnancy, with a brief review of the concerned literatures.
