Abstract

Cyanide-in duced parkinsonism is very rare. The authors presented a 37 year old man who developed intractable parkinsonian symptoms 5 days later after the recovery of acute cyanide intoxication. Brain CT scan showed bilateral; symmetrical; triangular shaped; non?enhancing; focal low densities in basal ganglia especially putamen and mild ventricular enlargement and cerebellar atrophy.
