위암세포의 염색체 변화
이인환; 장성익; 함덕상
Abstract
Cytogenetic analysis was performed in 16 patients of stomach cancer with no therapy. Recognizable metaphases could be obtained form six patients after conventional preparation of chromosomes. Long-term cultures for 24 hours at 4°C gave more cell yields and better results than short-term cultures for 30 minutes to one hour at 37° C. Among six1 cases of stomach cancer; four cases were adenocarcinomas and two cases were malignant gastric ulcers by histopathological finding. The frequency of metaphase was low and chromosomes appeared over condensation with irregular margin in general. One case in chromosomal number was diploid and the others were hyperdiploid (mn: 48; 49). Chromosomal gains in C-group were found in all cases and 19 trisomy occured in four cases. There were no findings of specific chromosomal abnormalities such as ring chromosome or marker chromosome. It is considered that the 19 trisomy is corelated with stomach cancer; iiowever; it is needed to study the relation between chromosomal aberration and solid tumors.
