Abstract |
In past most adult had an hepatitis A antibody in Korea; but recently by improved hygiene;
antibody-acquired rate is decreased and apparent infection of hepatitis A is increasing; so many
complications of hepatitis A is reported. In that complication; Guillain-Barr? syndrome is a rare
complication reported by 17 cases in the world. Here we met two cases of non-fulminant
hepatitis A who developed Guillain-Barr? syndrome in the course of disease and recovered by
immunoglobulin injection. So if acute hepatitis A patient has a neurologic symptom like
up-stream paralysis; we must consider Guillain-Barr? syndrome and need to evaluate and treat
as possible as we can. |
