CT Findings of Diffuse Pulmonary Lymphangiomatosis : A case report

Abstract
Diffuse pulmonary lymphangiomatosis(DPL) is a very rare; progressive pulmonary abnormality of lymphatic system that occurs in children and young adults. We presented CT findings of DPL in a young girl; which was characterized by diffuse; smooth thickening of bronchovascular bundles and interlobular septa especiallly in the subpleural regions of both lower lobes; associated with recurrent pleural effusion. Pathologically; the disorder revealed increased numbers of anastomosing lymphatic channels in the pleura and subpleural interlobular septa.
