A Case of Transient Osteoporosis of Hip

고관절에 발생한 일과성 골다공증 1례

Abstract

Transient osteoporosis; an unusual but distinct syndrome characterized by self-limited pain and radiographi- cally evident osteopenia; should be distinguished from other cause of bone marrow edema pattern; such as osteonecrosis; infection; trauma or infiltrating neoplasm because transient osteoporosis is a self-limited disorder that requires no intervention. We report a case of transient osteoporosis in right hip which is studied by serial simple radiography; bone scan and MR imaging.
