Abstract

The inflammatory fibroid polyp of the small bowel producing ileo?ileal intussusception is a rare disease entity. We present herein a case of inflammatory fibroid polyp arising from the distal ileum which resulted in the ileo-ileal intussusception. We also reviewed the literatures in this field; especially in reference to characteristic features of the inflammatory fibroid polyp as well as its radiological aspects.
